The first step in the process is grinding and preparing the floor for polishing by removing any existing coatings and abrasive contamination. This step is crucial for ensuring the floor achieves the desired level of polish later in the process.

A concrete densifier and hardener can be applied to the floor during the grinding process, if desired. This chemical treatment increases the durability and beauty of the polished concrete surface, and helps the floor resist abrasion and stains better than untreated concrete.
During the final polishing stage, we use progressively finer abrasives to achieve your desired finish and level of polish. The goal is to create a high-gloss, professional-looking floor that reflects light beautifully and enhances the aesthetic of your facility.
After the final polishing step, a protective topcoat can be added if desired. This layer protects the floor from abrasion, chemicals, and water damage, and extends the lifespan of your new polished concrete floor.
Maintaining your polished concrete is simple and effective. Regular sweeping and mopping with a pH-neutral cleaner will remove dirt particles that can scratch the floor, as well as spills that could stain the concrete. High-traffic areas may need to be buffed with a high-speed burnisher or a fine pad to refresh the gloss.
